Writing Expertise

Web Sites
With web sites, I not only get the words right on each page, but I make sure the words on all pages work together. I've managed several web site launch projects, responsible for both message design and page copy. In addition, I've revitalized existing web sites, again devoting attention to both branding and language.

Business Plans and Proposals
One of my talents is analyzing large amounts of source material and turning it into a tightly constructed, compelling publication. And by "material" I include both words and numbers – I understand financial data, and spreadsheets are my second-best thing. Over the years I've used these talents to produce IPO prospectuses, business plans, business proposals, a client annual financial review system, strategic plans, and annual reports – all complete with charts and graphs.

Investor Presentations
I've been on both sides of investor presentations – I know what to say and how to say it. As with plans and proposals, I work with the numbers as well as the words to create a compelling story that investors will understand and believe.

Executive presentations
I've worked with senior executives over three decades to develop presentations in a variety of formats (remember overheads?). Executives appreciate my ability to see and communicate the big picture; my "getting" of the business purposes of the presentation; my executive writing style; and the fact that I'm bright and easy to work with.

Michael produced a series of booklets explaining complex estate planning strategies in such clear and compelling language that I could focus my time with my prospect on sales instead of explanations.
